A Fresh Addition to West Bozeman’s Grocery Scene

Nestled off Huffine Lane behind The Market at Ferguson Farm building, the latest addition to Bozeman’s grocery landscape boasts an impressive 35,000 square feet of space. That’s a significant upgrade from its predecessor on 19th Avenue, which closed its doors on March 30th.

Spacious, Accessible, and Ready for Business

Town and Country Foods President, Travis Frandsen, emphasizes that this new location not only offers more square footage but also a more spacious ambiance and a generously sized parking lot with approximately 200 spaces. With around 100 to 110 employees manning the store, there’s still room for a few more enthusiastic additions to the team.

Soft Opening Sets the Stage for Grand Debut

While Monday marked the “soft opening” of the store, complete with full operations, Frandsen shares that the official “grand opening” is slated for July, promising exciting giveaways and discounts for eager shoppers. In the meantime, the initial days serve as a period for the team to fine-tune operations and ensure a seamless shopping experience.

A Shift in Shopping Habits

Reflecting on changing consumer preferences, Frandsen notes that the new store mirrors the evolving needs of Bozeman residents. With shoppers now frequenting grocery stores multiple times a week, the emphasis has shifted towards fresh produce and goods. The new Town and Country store reflects this trend, offering a balanced array of fresh and shelf-stable foods.

A Growing West Bozeman

The decision to establish the new store in west Bozeman is a testament to the area’s rapid expansion. What was once the outskirts of town now hosts thriving subdivisions, shopping centers, and even Gallatin High School. Frandsen remarks on the strategic move, stating, “It’s so new out here, and there’s so many people. It made sense to push west.”

An Exciting Chapter Begins

After a protracted construction period, the unveiling of the new Town and Country store is met with palpable excitement. With its convenient location, ample parking, and dedication to meeting the needs of modern shoppers, it’s poised to become a beloved fixture in the west Bozeman community. So, whether you’re a seasoned Town and Country shopper or eager to explore a new grocery option, now’s the time to swing by and experience the buzz for yourself.
